Trunk lockout service

Trunk lockouts are not always the same as a simple door unlock. Some vehicles allow cabin access to release the trunk, while others require a different plan.

When to call

• Keys locked in the trunk after unloading groceries, tools, luggage, or sports gear.
• Hatch or cargo area will not open because the fob is inside.
• Sedan trunk locked while the cabin is also locked.
• Airport, hotel, or apartment-garage trunk lockout.

What helps before dispatch

Provide the vehicle year/make/model and explain whether the cabin is locked too. If you know the keys are in a bag, suitcase, or cargo bin, mention that as well.
